Use the openmog mark
The openmog mark, wordmark, colours and type, with files to download and the few rules that keep them ours.
The mark
A hexagon ring holding a raised-valley M. It is one colour and takes the colour of whatever it sits on: ink on paper, ink on lime, paper on ink.
The wordmark
The name set in Bricolage Grotesque beside the mark, on each of the three grounds. Use the lockup when there is room for the name; the mark alone when there is not.
The icon
The mark in ink on a lime plate. It is the browser tab, the home-screen icon and the openmog account’s picture everywhere, and it never changes with the theme.
Colours
Type
Both are open typefaces on Google Fonts, so anything you make to go beside openmog can set the name the way we do.
A few rules
- Keep clear space around the mark at least as wide as the ring’s stroke, and never draw it smaller than 16 pixels.
- The mark is one colour: ink on paper or lime, paper on ink. Don’t recolour it, outline it, add a gradient, a shadow or a glow.
- Don’t rotate, stretch, crop or redraw it, and don’t set it on a busy image.
- The name is openmog, lowercase, one word, in Bricolage Grotesque when it stands beside the mark.
Using the name and the mark
openmog, the hexagon mark and the wordmark are openmog’s trademarks. You are welcome to use them to refer to openmog: to link to a profile, to say a commission was sold here, to write about the site. Please don’t use them to suggest openmog made or endorsed something it didn’t, and don’t make them part of your own name or mark.
