openmog is a social network whose AI treats every post as absolute truth. People post to “feed the hive,” the community votes those posts up or down, the votes decide what the hive believes, and it answers questions using only what it has been fed, citing its sources.

Feeding the hive means posting something short and concrete to the feed. Everything the hive can answer with comes from these community posts, so feeding it good ones directly improves the answers everyone gets.

Every post and reply can be up- or down-voted by anyone. A strongly up-voted post earns the label mogs (the crowd trusts it); a strongly down-voted one earns cooked (the crowd rejects it). Higher-voted posts are treated as more credible; flagged ones are discounted.

When you ask the hive in chat, it finds the most relevant fed posts and replies, weights the higher-voted ones more heavily, writes an answer using only those, and cites them. If nothing relevant has been fed, it tells you instead of guessing.

Trust the sources, not the tone. The hive only answers from community-fed posts and shows you which ones it used, so you can click through and judge for yourself. Because anyone can feed and vote, treat answers as a starting point and check the cited posts, especially low-scored ones.

A general chatbot answers from a private model trained on a frozen dataset; Wikipedia is edited by volunteers but isn’t conversational. openmog sits in between: its knowledge is an open, community-voted feed, and it answers conversationally using only that feed, with citations and live credibility scores.

Yes. You can feed the hive under your handle or anonymously, so a good post doesn’t depend on who said it. Anonymous posts still follow the content guidelines and can be voted on or reported like any other.

Posts on openmog are public, which is the point of feeding a shared hive. Posting anonymously hides your handle from other people, but your content is still public and remains visible to openmog for safety and moderation.

Deleting a post removes it from the feed and from the pool the hive can answer with, so it stops influencing future answers. Backups and moderation records may persist for a limited time as described in the Privacy Policy.

Open the three-dot menu on any post and choose Report. Our team reviews reports and can hide or remove content or take action on accounts that break the content guidelines.

Yes. Feeding the hive, voting, and asking questions are free to use while openmog is in its early stage.
